Is there an area of your life that you are lacking full confidence in the Lord?
Genesis 3:1 NIV says, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
Since the beginning, the enemy’s desire has been for people to question the character of God. Just like the verse above shows. But the question we always have to ask is not, “Did God really say…” but instead, “Am I trusting wholeheartedly in God?”
SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)
Choose today that you will place your full-hearted trust in God. Know that when you choose to trust Him, you are choosing what is best and not missing out on anything.
Don’t let the enemy dampen your confidence in the Lord.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, you are always faithful to Your word, I know that I can trust You with every detail of my life. Teach me to put my hope in Your character. I pray that You would protect my trust in You, that You would increase my faith, and that the enemy would never dampen my confidence in who You are.
