Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) says, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Sometimes in our everyday life (working, parenting, studying, serving, whatever it may be) it can be difficult to connect what we do to God: His presence and His purposes.
If we aren’t careful, we can find ourselves on auto-pilot; going about our day-to-day lives, but not intentionally operating for God’s purposes or from a place of being in His presence.
Are there areas of your life that need to be committed to Him today?

Commit yourself to the Lord and your plans will be established.
God wants us to do well, but doing well starts with committing ourselves and our work to Him. Committing yourself to God does something incredible. It places everything in our lives in its right perspective and priority.
When you commit who you are and what you do to God, you are also submitting who you are and what you do to God. And God promises to establish our plans when this takes place.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, I commit myself to You today, work in and through me. I bring all my hopes and desires, and all that I put my hands to before You. I ask that you teach me to do Your will. I pray that You would establish my plans and that I would have Your hand upon my life. Thank You for being faithful through it all. Amen.
