It’s never too late to get started, never.
Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Have you ever felt like you missed your opportunity? Or that the dream God has put in your heart has passed you by and is long gone? We often disqualify ourselves from starting because we think we waited too long.
But if the Lord rejoices to see us begin, then should we really hesitate?
SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)
What has God put on your heart? Know that it’s ok to start small. Daily faithfulness will produce good things in you and through you. In the process of “small beginnings”, think about how this work makes God glad. He rejoices to see the work begin. He is pleased when you simply start.
As long as you have breath in your lungs remember that “It’s never too late to get started, never.”
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, I pray that You would give me courage to start today. I pray that You protect me from being discouraged by small beginnings and that I would take on more of Your rejoicing nature when things start. Teach me to dream about what You have for me and how to take action on those dreams. Amen.
