Entrusted with Little

Luke 16:10 (NIV) says, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”

Are you ever caught up in the mindset of what you don’t have?

We can often think that the limitation of resources is what stifles us from progressing or innovating. We think, “I could achieve that thing if I just had that resource.” But what if instead of thinking about what you don’t have, you considered all that you do have?

SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)

Whatever you’ve been entrusted with, do the best with what you have. God wants to move in your life, and what He asks of you is to simply do the best you can with whatever has been given to you.

If you’ve been entrusted with what seems “little”, continue to be faithful over that. And if you have been given what seems like a lot, the call is exactly the same: faithfulness.

God doesn’t call us to worry over what we don’t have. So today, remember to be faithful with all that you do have.

PRAYER (Pray this out loud)

Lord, I pray that You would help me be faithful with all You have entrusted to me. Teach me contentment and diligence in all the seen and unseen areas of my life. Show me how to be an effective steward of the gifts and the calling You have given me. And above all, I pray that You would be glorified in every aspect of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

“Whatever you’ve been entrusted with, do the best with what you have.”
