Each of us is a one-of-one creation, uniquely made by God with specific gifting and purpose. So why is it that we often try to compare our specific qualities with those around us? Why is it that we can tend to look at our own life and calling and think that we are somewhat lacking?
Surely there is a better perspective for us to have if we believe God created us intentionally.
Isaiah 64:8 (NIV) says, “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)
God created you on purpose, and for a purpose, and He never makes mistakes.
He made you with a unique set of gifts, talents, your personality, and your own perspective, and this was never by accident. Like a potter molds clay to be used for a specific reason, you were created with a purpose in mind.
God has given you a very specific voice to be used in a very specific way. Consider the gifts God has given you, they are yours for a reason. Trust that the Lord created you uniquely to use what He has given.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, I thank You for You creating me uniquely. I pray that You would help me to identify the ways You have gifted me. Use me specifically today, I surrender all my gifts to be used for Your glory. Give me confidence in You and remind me that You don’t make mistakes. Amen.
“God has given you a very specific voice to be used in a very specific way.”
