Romans 11:36 (NIV) says, “For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
How important is God’s glory in your day-to-day life, your work, or your creative process? Though we may think it is paramount to us, reality may tell a different story at times.
How often have you felt discouraged, frustrated, competitive, or something similar, while in your unique “process”? Could this be because God’s glory wasn’t the ultimate end goal you were after?
SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)
The two chief ends to your creative process are going to be God’s glory and your enjoyment of Him.
One of the most important truths we must remember is that what we are called to create, and all that we are created to do is for God’s glory. Today, choose to live, and breathe, work, and create for His namesake—for His Glory.
On the other side of this is the blessing of enjoying God.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
All things are for your glory, God. Forgive me when my creativity, or work, or ministry has led me to focus on myself, my own ability, or even my own insecurity. May I always endeavor to honor you with everything that I do; to and for the glory of Jesus forever.
“The two chief ends to your creative process are going to be God’s glory and your enjoyment of Him.”
