Hebrews 11:6 (ESV) says, “without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
We live in a time where information has become a currency of sorts. Though not a bad thing by any means, we can tend to rely on what we know and our own experience, instead of who we love and serve—the Lord.
That said, all the wisdom, teaching, and information in the world can never be an adequate substitute for a simple heart in pursuit of God.
Do you have a simple heart in pursuit of God?

At the end of the day, it is faith that pleases God. A simple heart in pursuit of God and a sincere faith in Him is what really counts! However, when wisdom, teaching, and information are paired with faith in God, something amazing takes place.
Today, remember to utilize the things in front of you, whether its wisdom, teaching or knowledge, information or the tools God has given you, but do so with a heart of faith in pursuit of God, and watch what will happen!
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, I know You reward those who seek You. So I thank You for the ability to grow in wisdom and understanding; in life, in creativity, and most of all, in You. Thank You for all the incredible teaching and information available in my life. Help me to use these privileges well. Help me to pair these blessings with faith and a simple heart in pursuit of You. Amen.
