Comparison will do nothing to inspire your art, it will only wreck your heart.
Hebrews 12:1 (ESV) says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
In what area(s) of your life has comparison robbed your joy? Where or when have you been more worried about someone else’s calling, rather than your own?

God has a lane for each of us. A specific calling and path that He set for us. We do not need to be entangled by sin or the weight of comparison.
Remember that He called you specifically. You are a unique creation of God, with a unique calling, and that’s all you are accountable to, not what everyone else is doing.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, thank You for creating me specifically. Give me confidence in the gifts and calling that You have placed on my life. Help me be faithful to You and all that You have called me to. Protect me from looking to the left and right at what others say and do and keep me steadfast on Your purposes for me. Amen.
