When it comes to our worship, our whole life is meant to be an offering before God.
Colossians 3:17 (NIV) says, “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Consider where you could be offering worship to God… Are there areas of your life that don’t reflect this?
SELAH (Pause, think, reflect)
Worship is not a show.
No matter what we do in life, we should do it for the glory of God. By nature, that means it is not for the glory of anyone else–including ourselves.
Whether on a platform or in the daily acts of everyday life – everything is meant to be an offering of worship given to God.
PRAYER (Pray this out loud)
Lord, thank You for reminding me that You are the object of all my worship. Whether in songs sung or in seasons lived, may my life of worship honor You. May the lifting of my hands be a sacrifice to Your Name–whether in high praise or in service to others. Amen.
“Worship is not a show.”
